Embrace Who You Are

God made us unique with our individual characteristics and quirks. We need to embrace who we are and rest with the assurance that God knew what He was doing when He made us. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) says “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

As a Christian when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, the Bible says we are his workmanship and He creates us new in Him. Think about how beautiful the work is of a true craftsman when they create something. They are skilled and take special care in what they are building.

God is no exemption to this when He creates something. Just like in the natural when a person creates something, they do it with care and love. God is the same way. He does not make mistakes and created each of us for a unique purpose in Him.

The Bible says He created us for good works that He has already planned for us to do. Take comfort in knowing that God created you to have a good life and accomplish good things in it. Embrace your uniqueness, skills, and abilities to pursue that path that God has for your life. Enjoy the good things He has for you.
